SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK

One of our excursions while in Wales was a ride through Snowdonia National Park on a narrow gauge train powered by a steam locomotive.  The small size of the engine was intriguing, but it did the job.  Each passenger car held perhaps 45 persons, three across.

I liked the following shot of the narrow gauge tracks as an abstract.

Admittedly, the scenery was nice, but perhaps there would have been other ways to experience it.
