MOROCCO: VOLUBILIS
On the Moroccan tour before reaching Fez, we also stopped at Volubilis, a Roman ruins site from the 1st and 2nd centuries CE. The larger structures were OK and were used in the 2000 movie “Gladiator,” but I appreciated the floor mosaics more.
